According to Belgian public broadcaster RTBF, two terrorists involved in Paris attacks came from Brussels.

Two of the assailants involved in a spree of terrorist attacks all over Paris November 13 came from Brussels, Belgian public broadcaster RTBF announced with reference to the Federal Prosecutor’s Office.

Two French nationals residing Brussels and Sint-Jans-Molenbeek respectively were indentified by experts as taken part in the deadly Paris attacks, the Federal Prosecutor announced in a press release, according to RTBF. Molenbeek is a district in Brussels.

“In the interest of the investigation, we will not provide information on the identity of those arrested or dead.”

Two assailants involved in Paris attacks came from Brussels and Molenbeek, the tweet reads.

Belgian police have carried out a series of searches as part of the investigation following the Paris attacks. “They have resulted in the arrest of seven persons.”

Belgian and French authorities have decided to form a joint investigation team with French officers already in Brussels, accoding to RTBF.
